TNEA 2025: Every year, thousands of students dream of taking admission in engineering, and Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) becomes the first step towards realising their dream. The wait for the TNEA rank list for the year 2025 is now over, as the Tamil Nadu Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) has officially released the TNEA Rank List 2025.
Where and how to check your rank
Candidates can check the rank list according to their category by visiting the official website tneaonline.org to know their rank. The website has separate rank lists for different categories like Academic General, Divyang, Ex-Servicemen, List of Students from Government Schools, Sports Quota and Vocational categories. In this list available on the website in PDF form, students can get information about their rank and total marks with the help of their application number.
What will happen next?
Along with the rank list, DTE has also released the list of candidates who have not been found eligible. If a student has any objection to the information given in the rank list, he can register his complaint between June 28 and July 2.
After this, the counselling process of TNEA will start. First of all, online counselling will be held on July 7 and 8 for special quota holders (such as Divyang, Ex-Servicemen and Sports Quota) with 7.5% reservation. After this, counselling will be conducted for the general special quota (Divyang, Ex-Servicemen, Sports Quota) from July 9 to 11.
Finally, the general counselling process will start from July 14 and will run till August 19, 2025. It will include students of academic, government school and vocational categories.
